On Saturday, July 4th, beginning at 8:30, we will be holding a brief outdoor havdalah service followed by fireworks to celebrate Independence Day. Sparklers will be provided for children, and a larger display will be held in the parking lot of the Synagogue. We’re calling it The Fourth of Jew-ly.
Feel free to bring family picnics and chairs to sit in while watching the fireworks. All events will be held outside so as to provide distance between families and groups along with constant fresh air to help keep the virus from recirculating. Wearing masks is strongly advised unless you remain at least six feet away from other family groups (yes, even when outdoors).
Looking forward to actually, physically, seeing you all there!
