We are located in Ogden, Utah, nestled along the base of the Wasatch Front mountain range, about 40 miles north of the Salt Lake City International Airport. Ogden is a small city with easy access to phenomenal outdoor activities all year round, as well as a host of cultural, educational, and business opportunities.
As the state’s oldest continuously-operating synagogue, we have a lot of history behind us, but what really excites us is what we are doing today and tomorrow.
Our membership currently consists of about 45 households, a size that affords us the benefits of being a close-knit community. Our aim is to ensure that Brith Sholem is a very comfortable place to meet and to pray, with a true feeling of warmth and family, whether you’re attending services or taking part in one of our many activities.
Congregation Brith Sholem strives to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all our members and guests. We encourage participation from all who seek a connection to Jewish life and want to be part of our sacred community regardless of religious background, race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, political affiliation, ability, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity. In our infinite variety, we are one community.
If you would like to join our community, or just want to see what we are all about, please feel free to come in and visit us for Friday services!
